Dr. Koon joined the FPCCC staff in November, 2020. He has been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in South Carolina since 2013. His areas of interest include anxiety, family therapy, marital therapy, and trauma.

Dr. Koon received specialized training in child/adolescent trauma therapy through the Medical University of South Carolina (Project BEST). He approaches counseling from a biblical worldview and collaborates with clients to apply scriptural truth to their unique struggles.

Dr. Koon is married and has two children. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys working in his yard, watching movies, and watching Gamecock sports. Dr. Koon and his family are also active in their local church.
