We offer a customized course of treatment tailored to meet each client’s individual needs. Through Individual Counseling, our therapists work one-on-one with the client to resolve root issues and achieve treatment goals.

Group Counseling

We offer a variety of Group Counseling opportunities for people with different struggles.

Boundaries Intensive Workshop

The Boundaries Intensive Workshop is a 10-hour therapy experience designed to lay a foundation for understanding the basic concepts of boundary setting. This workshop occurs periodically throughout the year.

Caring for Caregivers

The Caring for Caregivers group serves those people who assist aging and ill loved ones and enable them to stay in their homes.

Griefshare

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences.

Psychiatric Services

For Providers: If you wish to fax records, please use the External Referral Form as your cover sheet. Do not submit records without this form. You may fax referrals to our office at (803) 779-7881.

Providers may submit referrals electronically by using our online referral form.

If you are not a provider or health care professional and wish to request a psychiatric appointment, please print the Psychiatric Referrals Form and have your current psychiatrist, therapist, or primary care physician fill it out. (Forms not submitted from a provider will be discarded) For questions or assistance, please call us at 803-779-1995 ext. 1031 during regular business hours.

Sexual Addiction Treatment Program

The Christian Counseling Center of First Presbyterian Church provides individual counseling and separate therapy groups for men and women seeking recovery from sexually compulsive behavior.

Will Christian Counseling Really Help?

The Christian Counseling Center provides clients an opportunity to develop a relationship with a caring, compassionate, and professionally-trained Christian Counselor. The counselor will help you identify areas in your life that are causing distress and help you move towards wholeness using therapeutic techniques and Biblical Truth.

What Does it Cost?

Standard Rates for Licensed Professional Counselors: $95/session

Standard Rates for Licensed Professional Counselor Associates*: $80/session

Standard Rates for Counseling Interns*: $40/session

*Some levels of providers work on a sliding scale based on financial need. Reduced fees may be offered at the provider’s discretion.
