Jodie is a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate at the Christian Counseling Center holding a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.
After a previous career as an electrical engineer in the field of power and communications and a current career as a certified high school math educator, Jodie felt called to serve others through the ministry of counseling. She seeks to compassionately walk alongside individuals, couples, and families navigating the challenges of mental health, trauma, and addiction in order to help clients find healing, growth, and transformation.
Jodie draws from attachment theory, family systems perspectives, trauma-informed care, and addiction/recovery models while honoring each client’s unique story and spiritual journey.
Jodie is a native South Carolinian blessed with 3 adult children and a grandchild on the way. She enjoys exercise, the outdoors, music, and time with friends and family.
Jodie is currently accepting new clients and offers both in-person and telehealth sessions.
