Hannah Urh, Student Intern

Hannah Urh is currently completing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Columbia International University, where she also earned her Bachelor of Science in Bible. Her approach is rooted in the belief that every individual possesses agency and the power of choice, even in the midst of life’s most difficult seasons. She is passionate about empowering her clients to realize they are not defined by their circumstances, but are free to make choices that align with their values and God’s design for their lives.

Hannah specializes in working with children, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, OCD, and identity formation. She utilizes practical, evidence-based modalities including CBT, ACT, and DBT to help clients develop tangible skills for emotional regulation and mental clarity. With her background in Biblical Studies, Hannah finds deep value in integration, offering a counseling space where clinical expertise and spiritual growth walk hand-in-hand.

Having served in various caregiving roles, Hannah brings a grounded, empathetic presence to the therapeutic relationship. She lives in Columbia, SC with her husband and two children. Outside of counseling, she enjoys the quiet rhythms of reading and writing, as well as walking and spending quality time with her family and loved ones.
